The Municipal Counci for Culture, Arts, History and Tourism

In October 2002, The Sangguniang Bayan of Pototan Passed an Ordinance authored by then SK President and SB Committe Chairman on Tourism Hon. Paolo M. Guanco creating the Municipal Council for Culture, Arts, History and Tourism. The council is in charge of initiating  programs for the promotion , encourement  and development of  tourism, tradition, history and the arts and its natural attractions and beauty and as an instrument of accelerating the development of the Municipality. One of the programs which falls under the Council's responsibility is the annual celebration of IWAG Christmas Festival of Lights.
